Sony Computer Entertainment CEO, Andrew House, has admitted the PS4 first party lineup in 2015 is “sparse”.

As reported by DualShockers, House was speaking during the Electronics Investor Relations Day. He mentioned Sony is working hard to support third party publishers and developers. He mentioned this is important because he said the first party lineup for the PS4 this year is “a little sparse“.

House could be referring to the unexpected delays of both Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Ratchet and Clank PS4. Both games were set to headline the PS4’s Fall 2015 lineup. However, both games have now been delayed until Spring 2016.

However at the same event, House further mentioned this year’s E3 event will be an “exciting show“. He said it will be a show where the new generation of hardware finally delivers “great content and great experiences“. He alluded to the fact that developers can now take full advantage of the hardware they are working on.

House name dropped Bloodborne and commented the media saying it was the “the first proper next-gen title“. He’s hoping E3 2015 will showcase more great games that will have the same universal acclaim as Bloodborne did earlier this year.

All eyes are on Sony and its E3 2015 announcement. Hopefully more great PS4 games are still on schedule to be out in 2015.
