We know now that Final Fantasy 15 will be getting an extensive DLC release schedule following the game’s launch next month, though it looks like there’s the potential for more beyond what we already know about. We do know that we’re set to be getting DLC that will star the remaining characters of Noctis’ team, but it looks like there’s the potential for DLC starring other characters at some point.
Producer Haruyoshi Sawatari recently did an interview with JeuxVideo, where they asked him if there was potential to play as a heroine like Luna or others in the game. Sawatari replied by saying that there was definitely demand for that kind of content, and that the team is considering delivering on that at some point.
It seems like this content would follow in the same vein as how the current story DLC will be, with you taking control of a new character and going to new areas and fighting new monsters. The current DLC will allow you to unlock new weapons within them, which can then be used in the main game.
Final Fantasy 15 will launch for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 29th. If you haven’t checked out the fantastic Omen trailer that the game received last week, then you can check it out below.
