It appears Square Enix is open to adding some celebrity voices to Final Fantasy XV as evident by a tweet from the official Twitter page.
This suggestion was put forward by a fan on Twitter. The official Twitter page then replied with: “Good question, celebrity voice actors? No Donald Trump!! Anybody have any suggestions? #FFXV”
It sounds like Square Enix is open to adding celebrity voices, although the only person that is ruled out is Donald Trump. This is because Trump’s comments have offended many and nobody really likes him now. Not that he would voice in a video game anyway…
Square Enix’s tweet opened the floodgates for people to reply with both reasonable and outrageous suggestions. The term “celebrity” can include anyone famous and people suggested a lot of diverse group.
Celebrities voicing characters in video games are not uncommon these days. The most famous example is Kiefer Sutherland voicing Big Boss in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. We also got Ellen Page and Hayden Panettiere starring in Beyond: Two Souls and Until Dawn respectively.
In related news, the Twitter page revealed that the next Active Time Report should be staged in the very near future.
