The sixth installment in the ever popular Nintendo series, has finally been given a proper release date. Star Fox Zero will release in North America and Europe on November 20th, 2015 on Wii U. Developed by Nintendo and Platinum Games, fans will be able to fly the skies again in a Arwing after a nine year absence. Star Fox Zero will offer a brand new narrative in the universe with brand new vehicles such as the Gyrowing.
The information comes out after Nintendo released a bevy of news including the announcements of new Amiibos and the Mario Maker bundle editions. I was able to check out Star Fox Zero at E3 2015, and can say with confidence that long time fans of the series will be pleased as it harks back to what everyone enjoyed in Star Fox 64. The Arwing can now transform while on missions, and the Wii U pad allows for precise control.
Nintendo only recently showcased Star Fox Zero for the first time at E3 2015. The game has seen some backlash from fans for its cartoony visual style, which Shigeru Miyamoto described as a deliberate effort. This reimagining for the Star Fox series is due out this November and will only be on the Wii U.
