Capcom has already made a sales forecast for Street Fighter 5 and the publisher hopes it can sell over 2 million copies.
Capcom announced their financial report earlier this week and they said Street Fighter 5 will be released in the current fiscal year. This means the game could be out between now and March 31st, 2016. An early 2016 release date in February or March looks likely.
Capcom said in the past that Street Fighter 5 would be out in Spring 2016. This suggests a March release date for the game could be possible. It’s probably too early for the game to come out in 2015. The game was only revealed in December 2014 and development is still in its early stages.
Capcom also expects Street Fighter 5 to sell over 2 million copies during its lifetime. This prediction includes sales for the game in both physical and digital formats. The game will be out for the PC and PS4 only.
Street Fighter 5 has been anticipated by many fans. Capcom spent so many years re-releasing Street Fighter IV, so it’s been a long time since a fresh new game from the series is out. So far, only Ryu, Chun-Li, Charlie and M. Bison have been confirmed to appear in the game’s roster.
