Otherside Entertainment has updated its website on what appears to be a tease of System Shock 3.
Nothing has been announced for the game yet other than an official logo for System Shock 3. At the bottom, you can sign up for updates and other promotions.
Their Twitter page described more of who they are: Developing Underworld Ascendant, a modern update of the classic Ultima Underworld series w/ many of the original Looking Glass (System Shock, Thief) team.”
It appears some of the team members from the previous System Shock games are at Otherside Entertainment. Their Facebook page they just announced “We are such teases” and nothing else more.
The first System Shock was released for the PC back in 1994 with the sequel out in 1999. A third game was never released even though fans have been wanting it for many years.
2015 has been a big year for long lost games finally getting made. Games like The Last Guardian, Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Shenmue 3, Psychonauts 2 and some others have all been announced.
The only games still missing are the likes of Half Life 3 and Portal 3 just to name a few. It appears System Shock 3 is finally happening if this tease is to be believed.
