Not a lot of information has been revealed about Kingdom Hearts 3 right now, but it sounds like more news will come our way after 2.8 is out in January.
In a new interview with Dengeki PlayStation magazine (via KHInsider), Tetsuya Nomura gave some small comments about the progress for both Kingdom Hearts 3 and 2.8.
In regards to 2.8, he further confirms that the game will have PS4 Pro support. This means you will be able to see the game output at 4K making the graphics look better than before. He also said he looks forward to people seeing the gameplay shift between 0.2 to the third game.
As for the status of KH3, he said we may not hear of significant new information about the game until after 2.8 is released this January 2017. One thing to look forward to is that he said some surprises are planned for 2017 as this will be the 15th anniversary of the series.
The last bit of news about KH3 is that Nomura said he’s still thinking about the main theme song for the game. We’ll just have to wait and see what it sounds like when it’s eventually chosen. Previously he said development for the game is going smoothly, so hopefully it’s not delayed.
