TGS 2015: Danganronpa V3 Announced for PS4/PS Vita

Sony have confirmed the existence of Danganronpa V3, presumably the direct sequel to Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, and the fourth title in the series. News on the sequel is light, but we do know that the game’s official title is Danganronpa V3: Minna no Koroshiai Shin Gakki, and that, for the first time in the series, the game will release on PlayStation 4 as well as PlayStation Vita.

Although we’re currently without an English trailer, the Japanese trailer (available below), shows off Monokuma, the series’ main antagonist, along with Shirokuma and Monomi, who appeared in Danganronpa: Ultra Despair Girls and Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair respectively. The various robotic bears are seen gathered around in what looks like a class trial — in previous games, the class trial would see students found guilty of the murder of their fellow classmates, with death the resulting punishment.

Danganronpa V3: Minna no Koroshiai Shin Gakki is without a release date, but the latest in the series, Ultra Despair Girls, is out now for PlayStation Vita.
