InXile Entertainment has announced that they will be launching a Fig crowdfunding campaign for Wasteland 3, following in the footsteps of Wasteland 2. The developer says that the campaign will be launching in one week, and that they’ll be aiming to raise $2.75 million to make the game a reality.
One of the most notable things to be revealed in this announcement is that the game will include co-op, which is a first for the series. Two people will be able to play through the entire campaign together, though more details are expected to come when the campaign actually launches next week.
We do know that the game is set in the frigid Colorado, with the player taking the role of the sole survivor of Team November. More difficult moral choices will be made this time around, which will be delivered through a revamped conversation system.
A release window for the game has not yet been revealed, though when the Fig campaign goes live you can check it out by clicking right here. The game will be developed for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
