Watch Dogs 2 Set To Have Improved Driving Physics

The driving physics in the first Watch Dogs is just one of the issues that people didn’t like about the game. Gamers will be happy to know that the driving has been improved for Watch Dogs 2.

Watch Dogs 2’s senior producer, Dominic Guay, confirmed that the driving has been improved during an interview with Stevivor. He noted that the driving in the first game had a polarizing reception so something needed to change.

For the sequel, they asked help from Ubisoft Reflections to work on better driving models. They said driving is an important part of the new game and they needed to find a way to make it fun. Guay said that he’s happy with what they have now.

The reason they felt the driving needed to be fixed was because Watch Dogs 2 is an action game. The “simulation” feel of the first game didn’t work well because players were forced to drive really fast and would often lose control of their cars.

The driving in Watch Dogs 2 is more accessible this time around as people can drive and shoot at the same time without too much hassle. They made sure to listen to the feedback so hopefully nobody complains about the driving when the game comes out this November.
