Specific sales data for WWE 2K16 have not been announced yet, but WWE continues to report that it has made a lot of money from its video games over the last quarter.

WWE reported on its financial earnings for the last quarter and signs are positive for the many video games that it has released recently. This includes sales for WWE 2K16, WWE Supercard and more.

In the Consumer Products Division, WWE noted it has “higher video game sales“. Video game revenue as a whole increased compared to last year . It highlighted WWE Supercard as one of the standout products.

WWE 2K16 itself sold pretty well in both “domestic and international markets“. It also mentioned that the company earned more revenue via “sales of downloadable content“. This includes a combination of 2K16, WWE Supercard and WWE Immortals.

WWE should be happy with the results as it lost a bit of revenue changing from THQ to 2K Games a few years ago. Not to mention reception for 2K16 was slightly better than that of 2K15. The game wasn’t perfect, but it was step in the right direction.

WWE as a whole earned a lot of money in 2015 thanks to the WWE Network, YouTube views, live gate sales and more.
