If you want to play several EA published Xbox 360 games, you could do so in the future via the EA Access subscription.
As you may know right now, EA access is a subscription-based program that allows Xbox One owners to play some of the latest games from EA. However, the service only has Xbox One games in its vault at the moment plus trials of new games too.
The EA Access Twitter page replied to a fan: “We’re investigating adding backwards compatible EA games to EA Access in the future. Stay tuned.”
There are already several EA published Xbox 360 games that are Xbox One backwards compatible. Some of the games include Mass Effect, Mirror’s Edge and some others. Skate 3 will be compatible very soon as promised by Microsoft.
However, none of these Xbox 360 games have been added to the EA Access vault for subscribers to play yet. This could change based on the reply stated above.
EA Access is quite a bargain as it costs $4.99 per month or $29.99 for a year’s subscription. Not only can you play several Xbox One games already, but you get free trials to new games four days earlier than everyone else too. Many people signed up just to play Star Wars Battlefront this week.
