‘Immediately whips her phone out’: Manager brings drinks to table, but instantly takes them back after customer says one specific thing

Some people just can't help themselves.

A bar fight in San Francisco went viral after showing what happened when a drunk customer insulted the manager while he was bringing her drinks. The incident at Hazie’s started when the customer called the manager an “a—” right as he set down the beverages.

According to Bro Bible, the customer, later identified as Shireen Afkari, was already angry before the manager reached her table. The manager had stopped serving her alcohol after she started insulting him. MicLovin, a woman visiting her friend who worked at the bar that night, saw everything happen.

She wasn’t working but watched the whole situation unfold and later stepped in to help. MicLovin explained what happened when the manager brought the drinks to the table. “She sits down, and the manager ends up dropping their group’s drinks off, and Shireen goes, ‘You have the face of an a—,'” MicLovin said. The manager didn’t say anything. He just picked up the drinks and walked away.

Service staff shouldn’t have to face aggressive customers for doing their jobs

Afkari wasn’t finished. MicLovin says she “Immediately whips her phone out,” started recording, and walked around the bar. She shoved her phone in the manager’s face while slurring her words and claiming she was being harassed. This isn’t the first time someone’s claimed harassment in a confusing situation, similar to a woman’s chaotic JFK kidnapping experience.

The argument turned physical when Afkari punched someone’s phone and went after other staff members. That’s when MicLovin decided to act. Video from another angle shows MicLovin body slamming Afkari hard onto the floor. The body slam stopped Afkari briefly, but she got back up and tried to fight more workers. The staff had to physically remove Afkari and her partner from the building.

The fight continued outside. When one staff member went back inside, Afkari grabbed his hair and wouldn’t let go. Bartender Miguel Marchese had to trip Afkari to stop her when she followed the staff member back in. She was later arrested for public intoxication and fired from her job after people on social media identified her.

People on TikTok praised MicLovin’s move. “Ahhhh I watched the flip so many times!!! You’re legendary 😂” one person wrote. Another joked, “Yall gotta create a drink that’s called the shireen special and it’s just an ice water lol.” One commenter added, “As another Shireen, I need you all to understand the irony here that Shireen is Farsi for ‘sweet.'” Some people end up in unexpected situations requiring quick action, much like a man’s alarming babysitting discovery.

Marchese was reportedly fired after the incident, which made many people angry. Marchese says he turned down a $5,000 payment from the restaurant that would have required him to stay quiet and not take legal action. He believes the firing might be connected to a wage theft claim he and other staff filed against the restaurant that same month. A spokesperson for Hazie’s said, “All we can say is that we do not agree with his assertions.”
