Bioshock Infinite will have three rounds of DLC

Irrational Games announced today that Bioshock Infinite will see three bouts of downloadable content follow the game’s release next month.  The three DLC expansions will feature new characters, stories, weapons and abilities.  The packs can be purchased separately or Bioshock fans can opt for a Bioshock Infinite Season Pass which will get all of the content at a discounted price.

The Bioshock Infinite Season Pass will be available on March 26th, and will cost $19.99, a 30% discount if you purchased each piece by itself.  For those that purchase the Season Pass, you’ll get access to an “Early Bird Special Pack” as well.  This includes four peices of gear that is exclusive for Season Pass holders.

If you want to get all there is to offer at Bioshock Infinite’s launch, you’d also do well to pre-order the game.  Those that pre-order the title also get access to an Industrial Revolution Pack, which has further exclusive content that boosts combat abilities, gives an in-game currency boost, among other perks.

Bioshock Infinite is due out on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC on March 26th.
