For the second time this week we’ve gotten news out of Bioware on Mass Effect 4. This time, developers are speaking freely about the game on social media channels. Bioware’s Ken Thain and Mike Gamble both recently expressed their enthusiasm about the next Mass Effect game after a development meeting that has gotten them excited about the direction the series is heading in.

The team at Bioware is apparently finalizing the new Mass Effect story and main characters, decisions that have both developers sharing their happiness with the world.

Earlier this week, we heard from Yannick Roy about the accessibility of Mass Effect 4 to long time fans and newcomers. The Mass Effect lead told fans that they are aiming to make the game accessible to all, but no concrete information was shared.

So chalk it up to more teasing from Bioware, the only official news that we’ve got from the studio is that the next Mass Effect game will use DICE’s Frostbite 3 Engine, and will not see the return of Commander Shepard.
