Black Ops 2 and Modern Warfare 3 players will be getting a week long double XP event. Announced earlier today, the two games will start doubling your XP from October 25th 10AM PDT, through November 1st 10AM PDT. Alongside the Double XP Event, players will also be eligible to earn unlocks in Black Ops 2, as explained the “Message of the Day”.
“As Call of Duty fans everywhere anticipate the launch of Call of Duty: Ghosts on November 5, we’re warming up with a week of Double XP for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, as well as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3… To sweeten the pot, Ghosts will offer a total of six new unlocks (playercards and backgrounds) for fans who have played either Black Ops 2 or Modern Warfare 3. ”
These unlocks are given for a number of different accomplishments. Two are given for reaching the 10th Prestige Modern Warfare 3, and two are given for reaching Max Prestige in Black Ops 2. The others are given for just playing the game, or prestiging once.
