Assassin’s Creed Unity’s release date is closing in and Ubisoft has chosen Gamescom to debut eleven (11) minutes of gameplay to the world.

The Assassin’s Creed Unity gameplay video is narrated by Creative Director Alex Amancio. Follow him as we watch Arno take on a full assassination mission. Unity features an all new engine for Next-Gen platforms that brings to live the setting of the French Revolution. In the gameplay video viewers will see the new engine in action which has some pretty awesome graphics.

The mission that is being played is one of the first missions Arno undertakes as an Assassin. Missions will now take place in what Alex calls ‘Black Boxes’ which are designed to allow players total freedom to approach an assassination how they see fit with no other hints given, all the players get is the objective. There are still sub-objectives that unfold and change throughout the course of the main mission. Moreover, in this specific mission there are ten ways to enter the building where the target is being held so with this mission alone, there is a ton of replay value. The stealth has been massively improved allowing for stealth mode to be activated at any time and the ability to choke out enemies by hand instead of stabbing them fatally. Check out the video below.

Assassin’s Creed Unity is set to release October 28th on Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC.
