Time Crisis 5 Has Been Announced

Bandai Namco is set to revive a well known gaming franchise as it has now revealed a new Time Crisis 5 arcade cabinet.

Am.net has revealed the first small details about Time Crisis 5. This is the same source that also revealed the release date for the arcade version of Tekken 7 as well.

Going back to Time Crisis 5, the game is being planned to be released in Japanese arcades in March 2015. The website also posted the image catalog that shows some of the artwork for the game as well.

Much like with the info revealed about Tekken 7, most of the written text about Time Crisis 5 was all posted in Japanese. Looking at the images, it appears the game will stay true to the series’ roots. The fans will welcome that it is still a classic style light-gun game.

It looks like the main character for Time Crisis 5 will be a blonde dude that likes to wear surfing-style clothing. He will also be joined by a brunette guy with a blue shirt. The two player aspect has been kept.

Another thing Time Crisis 5 has retained is the cover mechanic. All you do is press on the pedal to hide from enemy fire. It’s possible the game will have other new features that hasn’t been announced yet.
