Ubisoft has announced today that Far Cry 4 has gone gold meaning the game is ready to be shipped out to customers.

If you don’t know what going gold means, it is when a game’s development has finished. Far Cry 4 will not be delayed so gamers can relax knowing it will come out on November 18th for the PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360. Unlike several other games that had to be delayed until 2015…

Ubisoft already has very high hopes for Far Cry 4 even though it hasn’t been officially released yet. The publisher is expecting that the game will sell over 6 million copies in its first year of sale. Ubisoft even expects it will eventually outsell Far Cry 3’s lifetime sales of 10 million copies.

Far Cry 4 is looking to be one of the more ambitious games released by Ubisoft. They were initially wanting to develop Far Cry 3.5 at one point, but decided to make a proper sequel instead. Ubisoft promises the game will offer you hours of gameplay both in the single player and multiplayer offerings.

November 2014 will be a very competitive time for Far Cry 4. Assassin’s Creed Unity is released the week before while it shares a release date with Grand Theft Auto V and WWE 2K15 too.
