Halo: The Master Chief Collection has another update coming to players, and 343 anticipates that it will arrive sometime this week. Â According to the Halo Waypoint Forums, a new update aims to improve upon “matchmaking and system flow.”
According to the notification, “The team continues development and testing of upcoming content updates, the next of which will specifically make improvements to the matchmaking system and flow. This particular update is on track for delivery this week. We will provide more details on the exact ETA, included fixes, and additional upcoming content updates in the near future. Please stay tuned to this thread for more details.”
Halo: The Master Chief Collection has had a rocky launch to say the least. Â Following the online component buckling at launch, with many players unable to play matchmade multiplayer games, 343 Industries has come under fire from Halo fans who jumped in early to purchase the game at launch.
A number of updates have already been pushed to the game, but none have fixed the game completely. Â While the last update did improve the experience for some, the game is still missing popular matchmaking options.
Look for the update to arrive this week if all goes according to plan. Â Hopefully, it improves the online functionality as the game has been out for three weeks now.
