A Limited Edition statue for Batman: Arkham Knight may have revealed too much about what might happen at the end of the game.
If you don’t want to be potentially spoiled on the story of Batman: Arkham Knight, don’t read the rest of this article. It might ruin what will happen at the end of the Arkham trilogy.
VideoGamer first noted the statue that comes with the Batman: Arkham Knight Limited Edition reveals a potential huge spoiler. On the statue it says: “From a Grateful City In Memory of the Gotham Knight”
This highly suggests Batman might die at the end of Arkham Knight. Rocksteady has already announced that this will be the last game in the Arkham video game series, so this is entirely possible.
The ending of Batman: Arkham Knight could also suggest it mirrors the conclusion of The Dark Knight Rises. In that movie, Batman faked his death, although the city of Gotham erected a statue to commemorate his heroic actions of saving the city multiple times.
It’s worth noting the image with the statue was first spotted on Amazon UK. The listing for the game now has changed as the statue’s quote now says “The Gotham Knight” only. This might suggest the retailer did spoil an important part of the story in Batman: Arkham Knight, so changed it when people noticed it.
Do you think Batman dies or retires at the end of Arkham Knight?
