While we wait for the two new characters to be announced for Mortal Kombat X later this week, Ed Boon has confirmed fighters that won’t be in the game.

Ed Boon is of course the creator of the Mortal Kombat series. Some fans were asking him if some obscure characters from the franchise will be returning in Mortal Kombat X.

One person asked Boon on Twitter if the character called “Meat” will be added to Mortal Kombat X. Boon answered with an easy “no“.

Meat first appeared in Mortal Kombat 4. He was a guy with no skin and was basically just “meat” so to speak. He was never really a popular character so it’s not surprising that Boon won’t be adding him in Mortal Kombat X.

Another character Boon said that won’t be appearing in Mortal Kombat X is the character named “Drahmin”. Drahmin made his debut appearance in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance. He was a funny looking dude too much like Meat. He probably won’t be missed by many fans. Some people may not have heard of him before.

Later this week, Boon will confirm two new characters joining the Mortal Kombat X roster. It’ll be interesting to see who they will be.
