A new survey has leaked that is evidence that Warner Bros. is planning to remake both Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City.
As reported by GearNuke, images of a survey has leaked out from Warner Bros. It shows the publisher is interested in remaking Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
Warner Bros. said the Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City remakes will have better visuals and textures as character models and environments have been redone. You will also get all of the previous DLC that has been released for both games. They are tentatively calling it “The Arkham HD Collection”.
However, they are giving fans the option to name the collection with both Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City as well.
The options are:
- Batman: Arkham Anthology
- Batman: Absolute Arkham
- Batman: Arkham Legacy
- Batman: Arkham Masterpiece Collection
- Batman: Arkham Remastered
It’s interesting that Batman: Arkham Orgins is being ignored completely. Although Rocksteady didn’t develop this game so that’s probably why it’s being left out.
What’s interesting is that this collection will be coming out months after Batman: Arkham Knight is released. Will people even care to buy the older games on PS4 and Xbox One with the new game already out?
