One of the actors from Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens had kind words of praise towards J.J. Abrams.

Game of Thrones star, Miltos Yerolemou, was recently interviewed by Asian Correspondent. He managed to talk a little bit about his experience working on Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens. Although we don’t know the character he is playing yet, he did talk about what it was like filming the new movie.

Yerolemou praised J.J. Abrams’ work on Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens. He said the movie is in “very safe hands” with the director. He also mentioned the movie will live up to expectations and it includes an emotional story.

Yerolemou also hinted that Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens will use more practical effects than recent movies that rely heavily on CGI. He said when he was on set he’d be “next to aliens, animatronics; only a little bit of blue screen was used“.

The fact that Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens is using little blue screen and animatronics can be seen as a positive thing. It harks back to the way the original trilogy was filmed. He said filming the movie was like visiting another world. He also said it was like a “virtual reality adventure ride“.

Every fan is hoping that Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens manages to capture the same type of magic as the original trilogy. J.J. Abrams will be eaten alive by fans if it somehow falls short of expectations…
