A new rumor suggests that Rise of the Tomb Raider will be released on the PS4 in late 2016.

According to The Know, their source managed to see a document that laid out a plan for the release for Rise of the Tomb Raider.

It confirms that Rise of the Tomb Raider will be published by Microsoft for Xbox One and Xbox 360. This is the part we know already.

The other part of the document are where things get interesting. After the Xbox One/Xbox 360 versions are released, Rise of the Tomb Raider will then by published by Square Enix.

The document goes on to say that Rise of the Tomb Raider will then by released for the PS4 in Q4 2016. This will make it roughly one year after Microsoft’s consoles get the game.

The announcement for the PS4 version of Rise of the Tomb Raider will be announced in mid-2016. Another rumor suggests the game will be released at only $40 when it comes to PS4.

The Know notes they really trust their source. They gave reasons like Ryse: Son of Rome and Dead Rising 3 came out on PC one year after coming out on Xbox One too.

The Know is a big YouTube channel and are made up from former members of Machinma. It’s likely their source could be legitimate. But still, this news is a rumor so don’t get too excited yet.
