3D Realms has taken to QuakeCon 2015 to release new gameplay video for the upcoming isometric shooter, Bombshell.

Bombshell is an isometric shooter with many action-RPG elements that was originally intended to be a Duke Nukem spinoff title from 3D Realms and Interceptor Entertainment. Fans at QuakeCon 2015 have been treated to a ten-minute gameplay presentation of Bombshell that shows off many of the games elements.

Unlike traditional isometric shooters, Bombshell will give players a more RPG-like approach. Players will have access to inventory and upgradable abilities. Stats can also be upgraded as players progress through the game as well as level up the main character, Shelly “Bombshell” Harrison. ‘Bombshell’ lost her arm in a prior mission, but she is given a second chance when her arm is turned into a mechanical weapon. Players look to be taking on multiple missions as they progress and level up.

Check out the ten minute gameplay video below directly from QuakeCon.

The gameplay looks pretty good and rather easy to pick up and play. It seems rather fast-paced and engaging. No word on an exact date for Bombshell, but it was set to release sometime this year. Bombshell is set to release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC later this year.
