The running time for Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens may have been revealed.
According to a report from FollowingTheNerd, one of their sources found information on the UK rating for the movie. It will be rated as 12A in the UK and the most important information provided is that the movie’s running time will be 136 minutes.
The site’s source also broke news as to when the first Batman vs Superman trailer would debut so this information could be considered reliable. Although this should also be treated as a rumor until official sources confirm it.
However, the running time could be accurate because J.J. Abrams confirmed to Vanity Fair (via Screenrant) that he already has the “final cut of the film“. This means the film is basically finished at this point so a running time could be officially confirmed very soon now.
The rumored running time for Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens puts it in line with most blockbuster movies released these days. It’s not too short nor is it too long either. If you add in credits, the actual film itself will just be over 2 hours long which is watchable.
