An upcoming update patch for Star Wars Battlefront is set to improve some of the technical issues that the offline modes have been experiencing. We are also set to hear some DLC news soon as well.
As reported by WCCFTech, Guillaume Mroz (Hero designer and scripter at EA DICE) explained via a private message to a fan some of the things that will be doing in the near future.
He said: “Sorry, but I can only say that we’re going to announce what the DLC is about soon. It has to go through a ‘proper’ announcement.
Offline multiplayer has technical difficulties that the single player guys are definitely looking at. I can’t give any date for that but we’re very aware of the huge request for this”
It has been speculated that the online multiplayer modes might become available offline in the next update patch. This means you can play against bots instead of facing real human players all of the time. It’s beneficial in case a particular mode is lacking players.
As for Star Wars Battlefront’s DLC, hopefully it is worth it. The sad thing is that all future content sounds like it’s just focused on the original trilogy. It doesn’t appear that the prequels or The Force Awakens will be a a part of the game at all.
