Dying Light is set to be getting an expansion soon called Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition, which tweaks the game while adding a lot of new content to check out. YouTuber Arekkz Gaming has uploaded an over 40 minute video showing it off, which you can check out at the bottom of this post.
The video shows off a few different missions included within The Following expansion, while also giving a good look at weapons and enemies. The game controls exactly as it did last year, though the big difference in The Following expansion is that it is set in a much more open and wooded area.
We also recently learned that the Xbox One version of the game will not have an improved resolution. The original version of Dying Light ran at 1536×1080 on Xbox One, whereas it ran at 1920×1080 on PlayStation 4. Some were hoping that this new version of the game might improve that on Xbox One, but the developer said that, “We believe a smoother frame-rate is more important than the exact resolution.”
Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition is set to launch on February 9 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
