It was initially thought that Darth Vader will only be playing a small role in Star Wars: Rogue One. However, some new details about the plot/story of the movie suggests the popular villain may have a bigger role than was expected before.

The new details were revealed by an exclusive report received by JoBlo.com. Their sources revealed what could be potential spoilers about Star Wars: Rogue One. Nothing major is revealed, but the information shared is interesting.

First of all, the popular Darth Vader is expected to have a “larger role than originally thought“. This is all the information that they can share on the character for now. Since the good guys are going to steal the Death Star plans, it makes sense for the character to be around.

Another interesting tidbit is that the movie will have some new designs for TIE Fighters and the AT-AT will be in it too. It’s funny there is a new TIE-Fighter design considering it takes place before the events of A New Hope. There will also be black uniformed Stormtroopers called “Death Troopers”.

There is also a “scene stealing” droid that works with the Rebels and is a part of Felicity Jones’ group. JoBlo mentioned that this character might be played by Alan Tudyk. This droid looks different from C3-PO.
