Treyarch has released update patch 1.05 for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 on the PS4 console. The update patch is not available on PC and Xbox One yet, but it should be out very soon.
The new update patch for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is a huge one as it clocks in at 9.4GB. Make sure you have enough hard drive space first before you decide update the game. It’s unknown at this stage what the file size is on PC and Xbox One, but one can assume it will be around 9.4GB.
The main reason for the patch is to support the upcoming Awakening DLC pack that will be out shortly. This new DLC is coming to the PC, PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game. Sadly, the DLC won’t be coming to the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions.
As for the rest of the changes, this update patch improves on many gameplay areas. This includes general gameplay improvements as well as fixes to the multiplayer, zombie and single player modes. Most of the improvements were made to the multiplayer mode though.
