To celebrate the NBA All Star Weekend in a couple day’s time, NBA 2K16 has released an update so gamers can participate in all of the fun too.
The NBA 2K Twitter page announced: “The new 2016 NBA All-Star uniforms and court have been added to #NBA2K16! Who’s ready for All-Star weekend?”
Before the new update, the teams and court were based on the 2015 All Star Weekend so now everything has been changed to reflect the 2016 game. The court has been branded with the Toronto logo and the East and West team colors have been changed also.
In related NBA 2K16 news, the game recently added a roster update that included a new face. The Phoenix Suns’ head coach, Earl Watson, has been included in the game and the facial scan looks accurate to his real life counterpart.
This is similar to the update last month which added Tyronn Lue as the head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers after they fired David Blatt unceremoniously after the team suffered a big loss to the Golden State Warriors. Not to mention the Cavaliers lost to the same team in last year’s NBA Finals.
