It’s no secret that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has a fantastic soundtrack to go with the fantastic gameplay, and we have some great news for those interested in the soundtrack for developer CD Projekt RED’s next game called Cyberpunk 2077.
The developer has just revealed that The Witcher: Wild Hunt’s composer, Marcin Przybylowicz, will be coming back to compose music for Cyberpunk 2077. GamePressure briefly spoke with Przybylowicz about the game, where he said the following:
“My superiors already force me to do it, because I spend most of my time with Geralt; however, some first attempts with Cyberpunk were already made.”
While an exact release date for Cyberpunk 2077 has not been given and it remains unknown how far along development is, we do know that most of The Witcher 3’s development team had already moved onto the game as of last October. More information regarding the game is expected to be shared later in the year, with an E3 2016 reveal being possible.
Even though focus is starting to shift towards Cyberpunk 2077, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be having one last hurrah later this year with the release of its final expansion called Blood and Wine. A release date has still not been given for the expansion, but it is expected to be released before this Summer.
