Along with the anticipated release of Twilight Princess HD, Nintendo are also marking the Legend of Zelda’s 30th anniversary with a port of Hyrule Warriors for 3DS.
Hyrule Warriors was initially released for the Wii U in 2014 and received an excellent reception, including from us here. Now, Hyrule Warriors: Legends will take to the 3DS at the end of this month, with some updates and changes from the console version.
Nintendo uploaded a new trailer showing the characters of the game in their entirety, totaling 24 old and new faces. For the first time Tetra, King Daphnes, Toon Link, and Skull Kid, as well as Linkle, a female version of Link with much mystery surrounding her, will all be playable characters.
Alongside these, the characters from the Wii U will return. These are Link, Zelda, Sheik, Impa, Ganondorf, Darunia, Ruto, Agitha, Midna, Fi, Ghirahim, Zant, Tingle, Lana, Cia, Volga, Wizzro, Twili Midna, and Young Link. New characters can be transferred to your Wii U, allowing you to play as them on your home console.
Hyrule Warriors Legends will be available for 3DS on March 25th. Did you play Hyrule Warriors on Wii U? Will you be picking up this portable version too? Let us know!
