While My Nintendo is finally live and giving Nintendo players an all new way to get free stuff, the impact of being a Club Nintendo players isn’t quite gone yet. Nintendo is currently gifting former Club Nintendo members points to be used on My Nintendo.
The points are being sent via email, which says the following:
“The new My Nintendo rewards program has arrived. Earn points for interacting with Nintendo apps and services, and buying digital versions of games. Then redeem your points for fun rewards. And as a former member of Club Nintendo, you’ve qualified for bonus My Nintendo Platinum Points.”
The amount that people seem to be getting with the attached redemption code is 200 Platinum Points, which is a nice little gesture to those who put a lot into Club Nintendo. Be sure to keep an eye on your email (and spam), as you could be getting your email with free points very soon.
One of the biggest ways to earn points on My Nintendo is by doing things through the Miitomo app, though it’s giving some people a lot of trouble just trying to get it to run. We have an article that helps fix problems for some, but others are still having no luck. Hopefully Nintendo addresses these issues soon.
