A lot of new information has now been revealed about Final Fantasy 15 as Hajime Tabata gave more details about it during a recent interview with Dengeki Online.
According to Tabata, the recently released Platinum Demo for Final Fantasy 15 offered the same specs on both PS4 and Xbox One. The demo was also 1080p, but the frame rate has not been determined for the full game yet.
Tabata however didn’t want to elaborate further about the specs of the full game, but he promises the experience should be similar on both platforms.
Tabata also mentioned that he expects the game will have DLC. There will be a mix of both free and paid DLC. The reason DLC is being added is because he feels gamers will want to play the game for a very long time. The main story is over 50 hours long, so side-quests and additional DLC will prolong the fun.
He also expects that the game will be playable at E3 2016 as he wants people to experience the gameplay as much as possible before launch. The demo already overhauled the combat system as it feels less complicated than in Episode Duscae.
Final Fantasy 15 will be released worldwide on September 30th, 2016 for the PS4 and Xbox One. Square Enix doesn’t expect to release a PC version until after the console versions are out.
