Sony announced at E3 2016 that it will be remastering the first trilogy of Crash Bandicoot on the PS4. It also revealed that the character will be a part of the new Skylanders video game.

Shawn Layden announced that Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2 and Crash Bandicoot: Warped will be remastered on the PS4. No time frame was given to when it will be out.

They also showed that the character will be playable in the new Skylanders video game that will be out later this year. The new character model looks okay and he has all of his cool moves.

Sadly, Activision still owns the rights to the character and no actual new reboot was announced. Sony is partnering with Activision to allow the remasters to be out on PS4. Other than that, nothing else was revealed.
