Ed Boon pretty much slipped his tongue in a new interview confirming that Wonder Woman will be in the Injustice 2 roster. This isn’t all that surprising since the character is a huge part of the DC universe.
Boon leaked the character when he was talking about Injustice 2 DLC to Game Informer during E3 2016: “We would love to. We haven’t made any kind of concrete things; the game doesn’t come out until 2017, but I think it would be a missed opportunity if we didn’t do like a Wonder Woman movie skin or something like that.”
Boon pretty much admitted he let the character slip in the interview by tweeting: “Did I let another Injustice 2 character slip?” As aforementioned, this is not really a big spoiler as it would be more surprising if Wonder Woman was not in the game.
This isn’t the first time that Ed Boon added DLC skins based off of a DC movie. When Man of Steel came out in 2013, players were able to download skins for Superman and General Zod. It will be cool if they are able to get Gal Gadot’s likeness for the new game coming out in 2017.
The Gal Gadot Wonder Woman proved to be popular when Batman vs Superman came out earlier this year. Hopefully Ed Boon can surprise people so we can get a Ben Affleck Batman skin too. The Ben Affleck Batman was already added as a DLC skin for Batman: Arkham Knight.
