The latest game from Quantic Dream has been getting a lot of buzz lately thanks to E3, and now the game’s director David Cage is sharing a bit more information about the game. Games from this developer aren’t typically very long, and it looks like that won’t be changing with Detroit: Become Human.
Cage recently did an interview with IGN, where he revealed that the game would take around 8 – 10 hours to complete. However, he claims that there will be plenty of reasons to come back for more than one playthrough, giving the game solid replay value.
He goes on to say that they are pushing the boundaries farther than they ever have before with the new game, which includes areas like the visuals and the branching narrative. Scenes will have multiple different outcomes and the game does not have a game over state, meaning that if a character dies then the story goes on without them.
Detroit: Become Human does not have a release date, though it is in development exclusively for PlayStation 4.
