Overwatch recently got a new patch that incorporated the long-awaited Competitive Mode to the game, though it also brought a host of other minor changes to improve the game. However, one of the changes is particularly random, and it has to do with the basketball that you can shoot while waiting for matches to start.

It was originally a true challenge to be able to shoot the basketball and get it through the hoop, but the latest patch has made it easier. What it has done is give the basketball more bounce, which goes a long way towards making it easier to actually score a basket.

Blizzard has even made it more of an event when you do score a basket, as scoring a shot now sounds an air horn and shoots confetti. Previously, scoring a shot would get you nothing at all, and only those who were watching you play around with the basketball would even know you had scored.

Overwatch is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, with Blizzard most recently discussing nerfing Torbjörn due to his high turret damage. This change would only be on consoles, however, as the character seems to be giving people less of a hard time on PC.
