As we get closer and closer to Halloween more and more developers have announced a Halloween-themed event for their games, and now Rockstar is getting in on the fun. The developer has revealed that Grand Theft Auto 5 will be getting a Halloween event that starts this Friday, which features Halloween-themed items and a new mode.
The mode in question is called Lost vs. Damned, which has a team of Angels and Devils duking it out. The game features a day/night cycle that switches every 60 seconds, with nighttime giving the Devils a boost and daytime giving the Angels a boost. The boosts that each team gets consists of improved armor and health, as well as improved weapon loadouts.
There will be a variety of Halloween-themed vehicles that will be returning from last year’s event, as well as some new ones including a new version of the LCC Sanctus motorcycle that now features a red-eyed skeleton. More of the new content will be announced when the content goes live on October 28th.
Rockstar Games is currently in the process of developing the highly-anticipated Red Dead Redemption 2, which is currently targeting a Fall 2017 release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
