New Resident Evil 7 Teasers Show Off Item Examination And Puzzles

Resident Evil 7 has been getting regular videos that show off the many different facets of the game, and now we have two new ones to check out. The first one is called “A Closer Look” and the second one is called “Imagination,” and you can check out both of them at the bottom of this post.

“A Closer Look” details the ways that you will be able to pick up objects and examine them, similar to how you can in the Uncharted and Tomb Raider games. You can rotate them to try and find something hidden, and also potentially open the item to reveal what is inside.

The second of the two videos called “Imagination” shows an example of the game’s puzzles, with the light causing shadows that you must manipulate in order to complete it. The items include things like voodoo dolls and knives, with their shadows being cast into an empty picture frame.

Resident Evil 7 will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on January 24th, 2017. Check out the two new videos below.
