A new demo for Final Fantasy 15 was released on the Japanese PSN store, but it had some bugs. The game’s director is promising the bugs should be fixed soon.
Final Fantasy 15 director, Hajime Tabata, addressed the concerns via the official Twitter page. Gematsu translated the details on what he said.
Here’s what he said about the demo bugs: “Thank you for playing the demo. On the subject of bugs, we are already fixing them and plan to offer an update to users able to apply patches. Please rest assured that we will identify the frequency of the bugs and make fixes as needed.”
He also said in a further tweet that they are extending availability for the Platinum demo that was released worldwide. They were going to end its distribution this week, but decided to make it available until the rest of 2016.
Lastly, he addressed concerns about bugs being present in the full game. He said the game was delayed by two months specifically to iron out glitches and bugs without resorting to releasing a huge day-one update patch.
However, he said that Final Fantasy 15 is a huge open-world video game and it’s hard to get rid of everything with their current technology. Therefore, there might be a day-one patch after all to fix out niggling bugs. He concluded by saying that development is evolving every day and thanks the fans for sticking with them.
