Rockstar Games has announced that Red Dead Redemption 2 is getting a new trailer for the game on September 28th, 2017 at 11am ET.  A simple image (above) was posted on the Rockstar Games website that announced the incoming trailer.

The last we heard from Rockstar regarding Red Dead Redemption 2 was a disappointing announcement that the game had been delayed into 2018.

Little is known about the next Red Dead game at this point, but we do know that it’s going to be Rockstar’s next big open world title.  The developer claimed that the cause of the delay was for extra time needed to ensure that it’s the best game possible.

The Red Dead sequel has a lot of hype to live up to.  The last game in the series was one Rockstar’s most popular games in the last generation despite only arriving on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.  Fans of the series are hoping that with the success of GTA V on PC this game will also head to that platform.

Just a week away, hopefully this new trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2 will give us a better look at what to expect from Rockstar’s new game.  A bevy of screenshots were released earlier this year, but some actual gameplay is what fans are hoping for this time around.

Not everyone was disappointed with the delay.  Our staff listed a number of reasons why the delay for Red Dead Redemption 2 may have been a good thing.
