Well, this is it. The final episode of The Final Season of Telltale’s The Walking Dead is set to premiere next week, and you can now watch the trailer for this series finale episode. Fair warning: given how Episode 3 ended, footage from this new trailer could be considered spoilers. As such, this article will also contain potential spoilers.
Skybound Games recently published the last trailer for The Walking Dead: The Final Season, which is purposely pretty vague, as to not give away any major plot points for the final episode. However, there are some things we can gather from what we’re given. For one thing, it appears that zombies will be a much bigger issue in this final episode than they have been for most of the season leading up to this point, likely because many of them were drawn by the loud sound of the explosion at the end of Episode 3.
As many likely remember, Episode 3’s ending statistics stated that a number of characters were MIA following the boat explosion, but the appearances of various characters in this new trailer seems to confirm that a number of them made it out safely. In particular, Clementine, AJ, Tenn (who it looks like may have a bigger role in this episode), James (if he survived the previous episode), Lilly (if she survived the previous episode), and Minerva all seem to have survived the explosion. Violet and/or Louis are also safe, though it’s uncertain at this point if they are both able to make it out alive, or if only one of them will make it out in each playthrough while the other perishes in the explosion. Aasim, Omar, and Willy are still MIA, as they don’t appear in the trailer (Ruby and Rosie also don’t appear in the trailer, but are assumed still safe at the school).
The fourth and final episode of The Walking Dead: The Final Season premieres on March 26 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch. You can watch the game’s final trailer below.
