Rage 2 is all set to release next Tuesday May 14 across multiple platforms, and Bethesda wants to make sure that you don’t forget it. The company has just unveiled the official launch trailer for their game and it’s everything we wanted and more. With just under 3 minutes, the trailer goes above and beyond with the tagline “Insanity Rules” and after watching it ourselves, it’s easy to see why.

In addition to the excellent video, we also get to hear some tidbits from the main protagonist Walker as well as getting a glimpse of his demeanor. Filled with weird time warps that have corpses coming back to life and shooting at you and grotesque monsters that you’ll know doubt have to fight against. It even goes so far as to change the meta and scrutinize the ending of the first game, which was famously not well received.

This trailer might be the best thing the series needs right now. Ever since Borderlands 3 was announced, all of the anticipation from Rage 2 has shifted over to Gearbox, and quite frankly a lot of people may have forgotten that this game was releasing in less than a week. Despite the change in popularity, Rage 2 is looking like its going to be an excellent addition to the post-apocalypse genre, and we’ll be sure to let you know just how much we enjoyed it in the coming week.

Rage 2 launches on May 14 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. You can check out the launch trailer here:
