Just another tease during the hype that is the road to E3 2019. This time it’s Ubisoft’s turn to show off what they have in store for us, as they have tweeted out a tease for another entry in the Watch Dogs series, Watch Dogs Legion. It appears that the leaks from yesterday were in fact genuine, and we’re in for another round of phone hacking extravaganza.
Ubisoft is set to take the stage on Monday, June 10 at 1:00 pm PST/4:00 pm EST, and the company has officially let the cat out of the bag, leaks will sort of force your hand in that regard. One of the biggest features that has already been teased for the game is that you will be able to play as any NPC in the open world. This could create any situation to your advantage, as playing with anonymity gives you a huge advantage.
The only other thing we know is that it will also take place in a post Brexit-London, which is ironic considering the circumstances around the real-life Brexit controversy. Either way, Ubisoft has our attention with just these two tidbits of information. Watch Dogs originally began in 2014 with the first entry in the series, which fans will remember having less than stellar visuals, compared to it’s E3 2013 demo. The second in the franchise, Watch Dogs 2, was much better product, and had even more ingenuity with utilizing electronics in dramatic fashion.
But now we know, Watch Dogs Legion is real, and we can’t wait to see it. As we stated earlier, Ubisoft will have their E3 2019 press conference on Monday, June 10 at 1:00 pm PST/4:00 pm EST. Stay tuned as their are sure to be more leaks and reveals this week as we continue our road to E3 2019.
