Xbox 360 players have had a few days to digest the most recently released Modern Warfare 3 content.  And today,  Activision has announced that the “Overwatch” map will be headed to PS3 for Call of Duty: Elite premium members in March.

With February bringing the first content to PlayStation 3 subscribers, Piazza & Liberation, it was expected that March would begin the monthly release of content, one month behind the Xbox 360 content drops.  In March, Xbox 360 members will be getting new content of their own.  The Black Box Multiplayer Map will go live, as well as two new Special Ops missions for the cooperative players out there.

It is anticipated that PlayStation 3 players will receive this content one month behind, in April.  Xbox 360 players will get a chance to grab Map Pack #1 in a traditional release method of a bundled group of the content that has already been released to Elite members.  It would also be expected that non-Elite players on PS3 would see the first Map Pack hit around 1 month after.
