PlayStation All-Stars Beta set to begin

The PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royal public beta is set to begin later this week, according to Sony. The public beta will start for PlayStation Plus subscribers on the PS3 on October 16th, and will roll out to all players on the PlayStation Network on October 22nd.

On the PS Vita, players will get instant access to the beta, with no PS Plus susbscription required. As previously announced, the game will feature Cross-play between the PS3 and the PS Vita, and this functionality will be available during the public beta.

The beta won’t feature the complete roster of characters for the Brawler. You’ll be able to access Kratos, Sweet Tooth, Radec, Sly Cooper, PaRappa and the Fat Princess on two of the game’s stages. As for game modes, four player online tournaments and 2v2 online tournaments.

The beta will run from the 16th until the 30th, with the retail release of PS All-Stars arriving on November 20th.
