If you’re a member of the Xbox Live rewards program, you’ll have the opportunity to earn free Microsoft Points if you play copious amounts of the newly released Halo 4, or spend money on Halo items on the Xbox Live marketplace prior to November 30th.

The Halo 4 Combat Tour Offer is outlined on Xbox.com, and explains the free points scheme.  If you log in over 140 hours in Halo 4 multiplayer, you can earn 600 MSP, 70 hours will net you 300, and 35 hours will score you 100 points to spend on the online marketplace.  The points bonuses also extend into a cash back system, that rewards players for spending money on Halo 4 items.

Spending at least 3000 MSP on Halo items will get you a cash back reward of 200 points, where spending at least 1500 MSP will get you 100 back.

Not bad for those players that plan on putting their time in on multiplayer, or for those that are planning on picking up any of the due episodic content for the Spartan Ops or War Games modes.  Halo 4 launched just yesterday to server crippling demand on the Xbox 360.
